51 reg ford focus water temp gauge

Does anyone know where the water temp gauge switch is on a 1.6 16v zetec engine. Its on my dads car and the temp gauge in the car has stopped working.

I think its on the rear left of the head as your looking at the engine, underneath the inlet.
