I paid Ł150 for mine, and the spent ages trying to get the appropiate gearbox end casing

 

I've just paid Ł150 for a very good condition RS1600i set up, which is better than the Series 1 if you can get hold of one. As said though you need to use a MK3 or 5 gearbox casing as they use a brace not a cradle. I'm goign to see if I can modify the RS1600i set up to use an S2 box and cradle though.

 

I have an S1 anti roll bar for sale. You'd need the tension struts for it as I don't have these.

Could get some from MEF Motorsport that are adjustable

 

Think you will struggle getting the tension strut past the crossmember.

Its only the end casing on the box that needs changing for the different mounting legs.

 

I heard its possible but a ball ache of a job.

I have got a MK5 end casing here incase just didn't want to have to send my box away to have it all swapped over.

 

i got a bargain thn,S1 box,mounts and roll bar 50 quid

 

wait till you try it I did and now own a S1 box

 

i got mine for free but one of the arms in bent

dunno if i wanna fit t for not alot of rigmarol

 

i dont know if its any different,but its something not standard to put on,lol
