Thinking about buying a set of Comps for my ST170 in a month or two's time. Has anyone fitted 8x18s to one? Pretty sure the standard st170 alloy is et49, however a lot of people say no lower than et42.

What would be the best compromise of offset/tyre size? Don't forget its not an RS so doesn't have wide arches

As finding them second hand in such a high offset is slim to none, I will probably buy new. Is Martin the best geezer to get them off?

Oh and, if anyone has pics of comps on a focus, lets see them

Rich, i'm going to see Martin soon to spend a few hours playing around with offsets etc. To see what can be done as i NEED wider wheels... I'll let you know the outcome!
