Heat Shields
Fed up to the back teeth of burning great big holes in my 2wd turbo/downpipe heat shield. What other options are there? Another type of heat shield?

Can you not buy that heatshield stuff from Mike mate? Fuck knows what it's called but its on his website
you can form it to any shape you want I think?

you didnt do a very good job last time so i have enlisted Mr fairbrass to do it for me. his rates are better than yours anyhow

last time I set fire to mine, I got Monster to make a new shield for me and covered the inside with the thermotec stuff, worked really well

You could make one up in stainless, something similar to the pic below then use the sticky backed Thermotec stuff on it.
Thats what i have now done and seems to work well.
Also wrap the down pipe in heat wrap.
