Watched him lots on Discovery when I was offshore.
He's a nutter, but as they said at the start, he does it so you don't!

Still a great watch to see what you could do if you find yourself in the same situation.

A mate of mine is one of the cameramen on all the Bear Grylls stuff [he did the Chris Ryan stuff as well].

He gets to go around the world to places you'd never normally go, does some seriously crazy shit [he filmed that thing on Everest]...and get paid for it.

i went off bear grills when i saw him squeeze the juice out of an elephant turd in an attempt to tell us that this was a good source of water when stranded in the african desert..........tool
