If its a personal vehicle, why is it sign written?

Is that a company you are in some way connected with, or was it put there by a previous owner?

Sorry Chip, i should have explained it better, its my business vehicle but i also use it as my private vehicle, everybody's sig contains their private vehicle so i used mine for the same purpose, im not advertising, thats why i removed my phone number off the passenger door

Thats my opinion too, that its VERY clearly hinting that if people want a valet, you can provide that service, given that the forum runs a private message system, I dont see how removal of your phone number in anyway stops it being an advert.

You have just said yourself its your business vehicle, and carries your business logo, so given that ANY form of advertising by businesses on this forum requires the payment of a traders fee which you havent paid, I fail to see what is confusing you about why it was removed?

If you leave it on now that you have re-uploaded it after it was removed, you will of course have the ability to have a sig turned off by the mods, or be given a ban as per the rules.

Indeed, but this way he gets it dicussed on the forum one last time that:

HE RUNS A VALETTING BUSINESS

which means of course that people will know that :

HE RUNS A VALETTING BUSINESS AND IF YOU PM HIM HE WILL QUOTE YOU FOR A VALET

Which equally obviously is his intention, but he will of course deny that and claim that despite the rules on trading being idiot proof, he is in fact a bigger idiot.

He runs a Valeting business... His contact details can be provided via PM. Either that or just google his business name which once again is *removed for the sake of PF politics*. I think the number that comes up *removed for the sake of PF politics* is the right one?

Sorry, I was just clarifying that the business we were not allowed to advertise was the right business. I wouldn't want to have a negative effect on somebody who had paid the traders fee.

Thanks
Tim

But the odd thing is IIRC I can put a non-paying traders details in MY signature if it is NOT my business e.g. www.jtechmotorsport.co.uk but if JTM were to put it in their signature (if they had an account) they wouldn't be allowed to do so!

Thats entirely correct.

If any of Dan's friends want a picture of his stickered up van in their sig, that is perfectly allowed.

But by complaining, and then by you replying to his complaint, and then by me explaining about the reason for his complaint, he has had 3 free bumps of his advert now.

it wasnt an advert

Hardly any members on this forum are local to me anyway, theres no point in advertising my business on here, i was honestly not intentionally advertising.

Chip stop bumping my advert

I hardly think that members from this forum that live in the southern parts of england or anyone oop north is really going to travel to blackpool to have their car valeted to drive back home and find it shit up again?

Stu's services are completely different to mine.
