I have never removed a gear box on a 4x4..
I am presuming its not disimilar to a 2wd just with the extra drive shaft.

Do you just have to losen off this nut to release the drive shaft ?

And i am presming the three bolts here.

Then the four bolts to the front diff, and the normal bolts round the gaer box ?
I was thinking as i have a new clutch to go in, can i not fit this myself
when i put the box back in ??

Just as you have described above, you will also have to remove the gear stick aswell with the bolt and circlip. If the oil is drained out of the box you may get away with leaving the front prop connected to the diff and just pull the splines out the box.
