Well where do i start here...
i owned this car in 01 and sold it to "Matt" in feb 02. At the time i couldnt afford to keep it so sold her and bought a cheaper saff cossie. I always hankered after another and this last yr has been hell as i store my mate robins moonstone 3door in my garage!
Matt always said he'd never sell as he had too much invested in it but out of the blue a couple weeks back i got a pm saying he'd sell and did i want it! Anyway i knew it had to be bought as its a lovely car with a cracking spec. This led to the difficult decision to break my saff and sell it off
Anyways after sortinh a few bits and pieces i went down and collected it fri night/sat am. We got to matts at 02 30


So first of all thanks to Matt for selling me the car back and sorting out a good deal
he's kept it in great nick and has spent quite a lot making it a VERY nice spec!
Thanks also to my passengers on the tow journey from hell, robin and greg
I've never towed a trailer/car until then and didnt like it much at all! the thought of wiping out my new 3 dr and the x5 was not nice!
anyway a couple pics here as i'll put the rest in the pics room.

its just like days gone by and i'm loving it...permanent
should be in the region of 380-400 bhp i reckon. made 365 at nobles with a 4x4 cooler but runs a proper radtec 500 now with more boost
exhaust is one that Karl uses as he did the engine etc. it sits way better underneath than other exhausts but the tail pipe looks WANK. too short so it'll burn the bumper and sits low

I love the car mate but im not to keen on the bonnet pins and the hole cut out of the back bumper for the exhaust,at the end of the day though its your car and im happy for you.
i have it all but its on works comp which i didnt take home this weekend. i'll put it up tom but...

nms cams

radtec 500 cooler and alloy rad
oil cooler
Quaife box
r&d gripper rear diff
comp brake 330 4 pot kit
old flat face MOs
coil pack conversion
etc etc...
pins i like tbh. bonnet is needin replaced due to dent and i have another lined up that has carbon cups for the pins. i think it looks hard as

bumper is wank tho aye. i burned it first time round with my exhaust

little did i realise 18 months ago when i said i'd pop your cossie cherry with my cossie that it'd be this one and not the saff that was never fixed

when i first met robin he was told us to look out for a moonstone 3dr. we tried flagging him down only to get a txt from him sayin he was parked up..
he'd never seen the other one before..

btw you're NEVER getting in it as you were the cause of my melt down on the saff! 


not really. idea was to stop fucking around with them and buy a nice one.
probably,
give the inside a thorough clean as roof lining looks bit dirty.
new bonnet
fresh tail gate
fix paint on osf arch
powder coat the bufty tanks in black
strip the underside and clean/waxoyl/bufty
fit my powdercoated rear beam and trailing arms
fit my konis and ahmed springs
come spring time she'll get MOT/tax and insured then a quick health check at karl or stu
log term once thats all done and perhaps some exterior paint i'd consider bigger injectors and turbo as the engine is specced to take up to 500 bhp i believe
