Default pc guru's - help with burning on to a dvd ???

right ive figure out how to convert a film on the pc to a format that will play on a normal dvd player . and ive got a program called " Ashampoo " i use to burn it to disc . very easy to use .

until last night . i wanted to put to short movies on to one disc . this is because when i was sent the film it was in to pieces . the first 45 mins is in the first file and the rest of the film is in the second file .

now i want to put this onto one disc but when i use Ashampoo i can only put on file on to the disc and thats it , no choice to add a couple ??

there is a section where i can add more than one film , but when i add 2 or 3 short films it either cant use the converted version of the films cos they are the wrong format ( they are in VIDEO TS ) or when i put say 3 films on to the menu about 30 mins in total , it starts to process but always fails with error ?

is there another prog i can use ?

when i try and put a few on and i try to select the films the converted ones dont show any files that it can use , and when i use the version that has just been download etc its in WMV format ...... but these wont burn , they just error ??

does this make sense ??

any help or suggestions would be good . or do i need to convert them to a different format to put them on a disc with more than one film ?

If they are dl`s from the net then suspect they would be avis. Use DVDSanta (free prog google it) to convert to dvd format (VIDEO_TS & AUDIO_TS files) then use your normal burning prog (I use stomp recordnowmax 4.5) to burn it.Never had a prob.
Even more info when using dvdsanta you can select either widescreen or full screen to convert to - use whatever the avi file is ie, load up the avi in windows player and see if it plays in widescreen or not and select accordingly in dvdsanta. Also you have an option for PAL or NTSC, right click on the avi file and go to details and it should give you the fps.25fps is PAL and 23 or 29fps is ntsc. If you get this wrong then the audio will be out of sync with video.
DVDSanta is easy to use and takes about 45min for a normal movie.

they are avi or wmv files . i think . the one in two bits is wmv

the disc is 4.7 gb data disc . i can burn 1 film after ive converted it to dvd format no probs .

i couldnt get on with nero .

ive tried putting some porn on disc for a mate . three 20 mins films that are wmv but it just wont work. if i convert them so they hav BUP files etc then when i burn it only lets you burn one item to a disc , and if i try and burn them when i can put 3 in the list (where it doesnt need BUP files) then it still dont work . if i try and use the menu version so i can put 3 on a disc then when i click on the converted files. it doesnt display any files i can use ?

i do what you do , i convert it using AVS video convertor 6to get the TS files , but when i use the normal prog (ashampoo) i can only click on one item , the video ts file and then it will only give you the ioption to burn ? it doesnt let me mput anything else on disc ?

i think i mite have a look at that recordnowmax ?
