someone told me that the s1 uses a grey electro hydraulic pressure actuator on the side of the metering unit not a black one like i have fitted to mine. apparently this is for the series 2 only.

I am using a Bosch fuel ecu with a blue sticker and the silver ignition ecu with blue red blue.

is this statement true? this might why my car isnt working properly.

can anyone confirm with a quick picture?

 

It was definately black on mine. I just checked from my old pictures.
