Are all the cars in the midlands...
Clocked? Seems every car i phone from the Brum/Wolverhampton area are fookin nails. Claming half the miles they actually are
Seems to be a big problem around that area. As everytime i look for new car always a few that way and 9 times out of 10 history is dodgy when you look into them. Used to enjoy looking for new cars, now i hate it as so many dodgy coonts out there.

Rhys sadly its true, there are far to many dodgy dealers who give us all a bad name. Most my cars have warranted mileage. Some of the part exchanges we get offered have no history etc but are priced accordingly. I think the motor trade in generall suffers this problem.

TAbz this was private sale too, but also had prob with "traders". Hard work finding an honest car nowadays.

Rhys I know what you mean, its a nasty problem, which unfortunatley leaves potential buyers being put off by anything advertised in Birmingham.
Not good for business.
At the end of the day not every car is clean etc, but a little honestly would'nt go a miss.

It's the type of car you're looking for Rhys. They are soo easy to change the milage on, and sooo many people do it.
Buy a Focus ST-TDCi, better car

Rhys your problem is that you're looking at cars people buy to put lots of miles on and wanting one with extremely low miles.
Why so low? I'm a trader up here and i cant remember the last mk4 golf gt tdi i saw with under 60k on it...

Rab you dont get a ST TDCi and the TDCi engine certainly isnt better.

I was sure you did? ST trim with the TDCi engine? Or am I smoking crack again?
As it's an oil burner, I wouldn't really give a shit about the engine. I just really don't like Golfs.

You can get a TDCi Sport but not a ST...
Engines arent the best.... neither are the mondy 2.0 tdci either. I ran a focus 1.8tdci for 3 years.....

Olli, Just dont reallt want a car with 70k plus mileage when spending half about money tbh as by time i start putting miles on etc...
If people state few marks on a car tbh i dont mind that as atleast you know they are being honest!

Well I live in that sort of area (Out in the countryside though) and I've bought a LOT of cars in the past 5 years and I always end up travelling a long way to buy them. I've never bought a car locally barring a Series 3 Land Rover from a farm, lol
