With RS`s its really a case of you get what you pay for, Just look after it and buy a f**king big tool box for when it brakes My m8 has one 2.0 ZVH only brings it out after work and it gets thrashed then he goes home but its verry well looked after regardless of cost and 6 months later its still going strong.

Mine is running 11psi, no horsepower figures as yet, paid 2100 which included new wheels and tyres. It had a Ford Gearbox rebuild, and clutch 6000 miles ago. Mine has got a cosworth 4 pot caliper brake conversion on the front and rear disc conversion all quite new, its got newish Spax suspension and a new standard exhaust. The interior is totally standard and mint condition.

Sounds like you got a good deal.

hi fella
not a bad price for your rs at all
the cvh is easy to work on and if you get enjoyment out of working on it its a bonus as i do all my own work
you must get a manual for the car and work by that and you can't go wrong
it aint to scary once you have done a few jobs on it
just keep to the rules and you wont blow it, watch your temp gauge and if you dont have a oil pressure guage get one ,cams wear quick so any tapping from the top end needs sorting asap
just remember if you look after your car it will look after you
if you want to save a few quid do the work yourself and dont listen to idiots
i use mine as an everyday car like all my rst i have had and none have let me down coz its all in the upkeep ,parts and work can be dear so learn how to do some bits and youself will save a fortune
never cut corners as you will pay the price in the long run
if you need any help you know where i am pf

Standard exhaust

Not sure on the wheels either but looks a nice one, I'd go for a set of Black std rims.

Car is 19 years old so if you average out the miles its hardly what i would call high considering its a daily drive........
Touch wood no had to spend any money unless petrol counts!!!!!!!!
