Default rwd cars

i went out in a m8s 3 series compact and was so impressed wiv it. it slides around like a dream especially in the wet! this is my first sort of experience in a rwd car being driven properly are all the rwd's like that or the 3 series perticularly gd? especially for the fact that you could go and pick 1 up for quite a bit under 2 grand in very good nick are there any other alternatives?

I've been told 3 series compacts drift better than the normal e36's, or just get an old e30 to drift,

Compacts arnt great, normal E36s are better, esp if they have a diff, so if you that easy pleased, you gonna love a proper RWD car.
