my cross linkage is fooked and im now strugling to find gears. what can i do to sort it out. i dont think ford sell them anymore. also i have a b&m short shift kit fitted if that makes a difference. any help would be really appreciated

 

Cross linkage?

If you mean the part the goes between the shifter and the gearbox, Ford still do them. Sub £30 if IIRC.

 

Cut and weld in a proper universal joint form an old steering column or something similar.

 

ok nice one i was told they dont sell them anymore. ive allways known it called cross linkage or gear linkage. you ever heard this term. p.s the B&M i got off you is quality!!! thanks for posting it twice. lol. i owe you one

 

you my beable to still get the rebuild kits from mford to b&m have stopped making quickshifts for mk4's
