For Road use Eagle F1's or R888's.

what size wheels?
Kelv has some tires forsale justnow at a good price.
R888's arent the best in the wet so depends when you use the car.

It is so subjective, I have F1's on a astra, and have tried them on a lot of cars.
Personally I wouldn't put them on a wheelbrarrow.
Autoexpress did a feature on tyres about 4 weeks ago, F1 came 6 out of 12, the real surprise for me was the winner, a PIRELLI, the tyre test was done at Michelin's tyres test place by experienced drivers.
Worth getting a copy, because of the copious amounts of rain in this country I like to use something very wet biassed, and so use Uniroyal Rainsport, no 1 in test in deep water, but used them years.
I have used Toyo T1S and then the T1R, the S was ace especially for the money, the R was crap IMO.

tabs is right............tyres are a preference.......but some work better on one car than another...........most people will say f1's or proxies......cos everyone has them......but when do u use ur car...???..........all year or when the sun shines........i'm using falken fk452's at the mo............they seem to be average untill u push them, then they seem to get better.........strange really cos u need to put more speed into corners and they stick..........

It is a shame for me that Goodyear stopped the EAGLE VENTURA, that was ace, as was YOKI A008.

in which case i would go for Toyo R888 as they have awesome grip in the dry and will still get you home in the wet, just avoid standing water.

Think Martin H is about the best for prices on these

i think the Eagle F1's are and all round winner for everyday driving.

i do have a set for sale, but for some the size i have is a little to wide.

if you wanted a set of R888 thru Martin -

225/40/18 = Ł552
235/40/18 = Ł575
