help 55 plate fiesta diesel emissions

hi everyone

my father in law has bought a 55 plate fiesta 1.4 tdci on 56k miles.
it's just been for its first mot and failed on high emissions has anyone got any ideas

i would stick new filters on it and a bottle of injector cleaner in the tank

as above a air filter soem injector cleaner in fuel, rag it up motorway before the mot

i aways used to take the car to the mot station revving the tits off of it to clear it out, normally works on diesels.

it only just gone through a service apparently beggers belief think we'll take it back to where it was serviced

Cane the living F**K out of it, they all clog up the cat's.
Always had to do this to diesels, but will go through after this, all else being well.
