And in your price band, and could be traded in against the V8 one next year and not losing a shit load of cash compared to A N Other £4k car.

The low history thing would put me off that M5 a wee bit... I'm guessing its a car that could shag your finances to the tune of a few 'k if one of the major mechanical components was to give up??

Cheers,
Grant

What happened to "passion Ford"?

Nothing wrong with a V6 Mondeo IMO. mine cost less than 2k and 4k will get you a very good example... and they're rare... not so long ago I saw an ST220 for sale for £4,500 with 85k on the clock in Black. The 3litre petrol one too....

Yea, thats kinda what I meant.. it would put me off a wee bit, but not enough to stop me going for a look at it. After a good look round and checking any areas that are known to cause bother, if I was happy with it then I'd part with my cash. I've always liked that shape of 5-series and those wheels look brilliant on it, think that Top Gear had one very similar looking to that on their M-Sport special with the E30 M3, M1, M3 CSL etc.

Cheers,
Grant

Integra Type R

Audi S2

200SX/180SX

Since this is PassionFORD, £4k might get you an ST170 if you want something newish.

Or possibly an Evo 4.

That's all I can think of

What about an RX8, you can get some 2003/04 cars for around £4500 now. They look good, modern, reliable, 231bhp and RWD.

I would've suggested an RX8 if I realised that are really that cheap
