Is it not over specced for me tho mate? i mean i have just bought a chip for a stock engine as well i would need to get it mapped for your cams & compression & i really dont want to do that i would just rather keep the chip ive got from msd

 

send chip back and have it re-done> you could take my cams out and sell them? I know some who wants a set like mine too

When you price up the individual components, 4k does start sounding pretty reasonable it has to be said.

Plus its in that sweet spot in terms of mileage, its not done enough miles to be worn, but has done enough to know there wont be any teething problems.

Ideal for you Carlo would just mean bolting your bits on and switching the cams, would make a real safe engine that would take all the boost your T34 could give , then if you do go GT30 in the future its just a turbo swap.

 

I know plenty of people who've spent far more on building a new engine only to then have issues, so its the easy option for someone and will save them some cash too.
Especially when you factor in the fact that they are likely to get a grand back for their old YB anyway!

 

the way engine prices are on ebay sell your origeonal motor and you end up with this for quite a bit less than 3k

No mate, along with the big front brembos'ryan loom,pro alloy intercooler,stack afr,euans clocks with rev counter,seimens blacks,the list goes on,new air filter,bosh 044.......the list is going on & on wallet status at the moment = fucked

 

Good work better to do everything at once then you can enjoy the car, similar to what i tried to do with mine but im still changing bits :L

Col the bottom end was fine with good oil pressure , head could do with a skim & the exhaust studs fixed make me a offer comes with cams ect , no inlet. or exhaust manifold.Not too sure what its worth
