I know for a fact that the Mk 4 rear suspension is totally different to a Mk5.A Mk 4 indenpendant suspension,a Mk5 has a beam.I wont think a Mk5 could be fixed easily onto a Mk4 Escort.Regards,micky

i dont think the reservoir is the same,
but you could fit a remote res to the cylinder, have a look on compbrake site.they only push into a rubber seal

Mk4 and mk5 brake reservoirs are not the same.

The Std mk5 reservoir is better than the mk4.

The Fiesta turbo boys fit the Mk5 Reservoir as its also bigger than the mk3 fiesta.

Was jus gonna say what Ollie said !! When we built Ollie's up with the turbo runnin gear, one of the main +'s of the conversion was dumpin the dodgy ABS fitted to Rs turbos which included the resivour !!

So hang on to yours Jim !!
