what shell is it and what condition was it when first purchased it looks very clean underneath has it been strenghtend underneath the engine is sweet apart froma sump gasket leak lol
The car was a 1.4 bonus escort in white. It was in mint condition never been welded all original panels rust free. This was converted well it has a lot of pieces put in for stiffness. wen my m8 got the engine he had the sump off for a look inside but the engine was dry as a bone wen i had it
Nice car bud but don't bling up the bay, keep it looking tidy but dont go down the route of chrome shite everywhere.
im not really after the whole chrome thing just some stainless stuff to tidy it up and some samco's il decide nearer the time what to do but for now its sort out the insurance and get the polish out

i had a look underneath tonight when i viewed the car and i seen a bit of underseal had been wiped off thats why i thought it was white originally il have a look at the leak tomorrow its nothing major but il get it sorted im well chuft with it i looked in the usual places for rot and rust but nothing to be seen

Didnt Ford actually make these in europe, as opposed to conversions done in this country. Are these available?
Wouldnt it be better to use a convertible as a base, as the necessary strengthening work is already done?
Anyhow, looks very nice, just needs a mk3 front end conversion.
