as above. have just got a fiberglass font bumper but it has no hockey sticks on it so wondering did some escos,s come without or will i have to get some?

funny question maybe but what are the hockey sticks

 

on the front bumper of the esort cosworth the splitter wraps around and goes up the side of the bumper at each weelarch. the part that goes upwards is seperate to the spitter and is called the hockey stick cos it looks a bit like one

Yes... hockey sticks should be on all production Escort Cossies.

Dont forget though the front is 4 piece (on top of the bumper).

2 x Hockey Sticks
1 x Splitter
1 x Lower Spoiler

To replace the lot with genuine parts will cost you an arm and a leg, but the OE stuff is certainly the best (even carbon fibre replacements for the lower spoiler especially is not as good, as the original will flex).

 

NO they DONT all come with hockey sticks

very late small turbo cars with the 'delete aero pack' come with:

no rear fin
no lower splitter blade
and no hockey sticks

 

i had a totally stock small turbo model with no splitter or hocks,never had any from new

Escort cosworths that had the aero pack had hockey sticks, splitter and rear spoiler.

Ones with out did not, Simple really.
