As above? Inside the actual charge cooler element is it the same as a normal intercooler? I.e. Could I just make a water tight shroud around a standard intercooler?

My mate had one on his gti-r years ago..

was just the stock top mount intercooler with an alloy jacket welded round, 2 pipes in the jacket. It was converted by pace and used their switch, swirl pot, pump and rad.

The pump packed up and i had the idea of using a 12v pump for a caravan shower (from a camping shop we found open on a sunday) got it back working for about a tenth the price pace wanted for a new pump
