Any powder coater can coat any item in any coat/finish. Its a matter of if they will do it due to powder costs (If they dont already have stock) and how many bits you want done!!

Try google searching local ones to you and phone em up

treston finishers, and A1 coatings in Southampton.

Both in the same road, so if one is out of stock 99% of the time the other will have it, as they both know each other, as they both specialise in different areas.

The finish from trestons is amazing, andy and the boys do a great job down there.

It depends on how you want it doing. For example, to do a Cossie one requires the entire cover coated and then the normally uncoated parts machined back to get a nice finish. Obviously this means it has to go through two processes at two different places.

How do you want yours finished?

We used to use trestons at work when we were building a 30Million pound yatch! Every thing we recieved was always flawless!
I have been using A1 coatings for all my escos parts, which again have all been faultless!

Luca, VHT also do a wrinkle paint in a rattle can!, this is what i used on my vauxhall nova! it gave an awsome finish, and was easy to do, i used an oven to get extra wrinkles,
not sure if the pic will show it up that well;

one can done the cam and belt cover, top hat and dizzy body, with some more left over, i bought it via Frosts.

Question ?

Obviosuly the surface is not as smooth as paint. How can you keep it looking tip top/clean it.

Or is it a case of if you drop oil on it... repaint!
