Nuff to this pilot' Landed in a small park just at the end of the road from where i work in Hackney

 

my misses is on her course for doing the surrey air ambulance as shes already at trauma/ intensive care nurse

Respect to the pilot

 

Very little room for error there.

 

Same jus happened outside my work too, air ambulance landed in the bus station, barely wider either side than the rotor blades

yeah mate, been a fantastic late afternoon watching the new shopping centre explode
esp as its RIGHT next to where we work, things blowing up less than a minutes walk from you is way better than fireworks night!

explosions going higher than the roofs of 4 storey buildings, people running away screaming, was an hour of fantastic outdoor entertainment, was gutted when things stopped exploding.

even more gutted i didnt think to take any vids, only got one of the helicopter taking back off, but i know others managed vids.

think we all missed recording the first, and best explosion tho

first one was funny tho, was jus loads of smoke and hundreds of builders running away, and i got bored and went "fucks sake, im bored, cant something explode" and then BOOOOOOOOOOOOM the first thing went up

 

awesome .. Thought id herd something on the radio about a shopping center' I take it was the builders fault then

yeah they building a massive shopping centre right in the middle, think the roofers fucked up, and took half the place out with exploding gas bottles, was awesome!

 

my brother in law is an air ambulance paramedic for the great north air ambulance, he features in a program starting at the end of october where a camera crew follow them round, bit like the trafic cops series.. I think it's called northern angels

good skills, but i am curious as to how that pile of grass cuttings is still there if he's just landed.

I can just imagine the miserable park keeper just finished tidying his park and then a fookin' helicoptor lands on his grass...

 

O yer just noticed that

 

nobody was hurt, looked fucking spectacular tho! cant see the extent of the damage tho as they shut the area off so cant get near, but it must be fairly bad in that bit.
we only 50ft or so away in a straight line, but big building in the way.
explosions going 5 stories high was ace!

glad i had a KFC today, not had one for months but i think its probably burnt down now

ive got all the time in the world for these guys.

its these guys that had to airlift my dad a few weeks ago straight to Kings College Hospital.
