crossover pipe/inlet- heat wrapped or not?
I didnt read much of inlet heat wrapping, so want to ask, is good idea to put some heat wrapping tape (with ceramic, goes to 1200 c) on aluminium pipe which goes on rocker cover to inlet plenum?
will this protect this pipe from getting hot? or just will keep pipe hot, and will not have good cooling?

i don't think that will really help getting cooler air into the engine. i would say it works for only the really high temps and the air under the bonnet won't reach such a extreme temp that it will have that much advantage...
I heard that heatwrapping the downpipe excludes alot of hot air under the bonnet.

yes... I try to do something on inlet because crossover pipe is getting hot because of hot rocker cover. but as you said , better to heatwrapping the downpipe or exh mainfold

would be more efficient coating the rockcover with a special coating, but this could give problems with cooling the engine i think
