Default Focus RS Brakes on Escort Cosworth?

Hi Everyone!

I was wondering, do Focus RS (type1) brakes (brembo 320mm) fit on the hub from an Escort Cosworth?

Is it a straight bolt-on job, or not (and what do you have to change?)

Thanks!

Cheers,
Bjorn

Afraid not you will need brackets to mount the calipers and due to the design of the disc you would have to buy disc's and bells.

I'm putting these on my escos, will be using custom brackets and 300mm disc's so they fit under grp a 16"s.
Will try st170 disc's to see if the offset is anygood. Then maybe bell's if there no good.

And They will be on a rwd set up so off set maybe different?? will let you know how it goes

Dunno if this helps anybody but alot of the guys here in Germany seem to fit Porsche calipers to their cars.

If anybody's interested I'll try & find out how.

Its not an EsCos but I have focus RS brakes fitted to my RS2000 mk5, under 16inch comp MO's. Used the 324mm FRS disc and a custom bracket.

i have put honda intergra dc5 4 pot brembos on my 2wd cossie hubs with a 330mm disc, and i made up some custom brackets on the mill.
the whole lot cost just over 400 euros!! way better than about 1200 sterling which is the usal price for a similar new setup!
will try and get some pics
