Yesterday I bougth wheels to my S2. They are 7x16 and offset is 35.

What do you recomend of size of the tires? I going to lowering the car about 25 to 30 mm.

Will it be big different to fit these ones compare to my 15 that I have now?

205/45/16's would be fine.

 

16" wheels shouldnt change anything really, nor will lowering it 25mm. Lower it more than that and stick on 17's... then you'll notice a HUGE difference! Not a good difference either.

16" replacement with a 25mm drop has always been the recommended modifications anyway

 

I agree. I've run that size on 7.5x16 ET35's for ten years. Its time i sold the twat

 

Howabout the steering then? Will it be more harder to turn the car with bigger wheels?

i use 195/45/16's on mine!

 

i have had 16" since 97 on escort and have run 205/45-16 whitout any problems...

as for stering you will get a small harder turning on parking but oterwice you won't feel anything diffrent from standard ( well more grip lol )
