Default S2 Aluminium Radiator

There are loads out there but witch are the best?

Std ones from a Ebay show are £179+P&P
Airtec £200 witch have a good price but i hear bad things about
GRS are £285 are good

Anyone got a Radtec, pace or pro? and what are the prices?

I've got a Pace. It's been sound for years, but has now sprung a leak!

Someone here pointed me in the direction of GRS and im very tempted to go down that path. Whats the 'bad things' you've heard about Airtec? I ony ask because i was looking at getting one of them if the pocket doesnt stretch to a GRS.

Considering they say its a direct replacement for the original, thats false advertising!

I heard bad things about them air tec one's like them going bang and as said above not a very good fit but then others have said there good Imo go for a GRS one if you want an alloy one the quality is excellent and so is the service you get from graham. But as said the standard ford one will be just as good if not better than some of the alloy ones out there.

ive had my airtec on for ages now and its great it reduced the temps, it fitted ok, it was a little heavy though but who cares! your paying 100quid for a brand new reconditioned standard one of ebay that goes pop like mine did within three months or your hunting around all the spares place for a decent old one, my mates on his 4th now and theyve all leaked at 80quid a pop!

a Standard rad is only good if the end tanks dont spit in half. end tanks on the standard rads are no good and break away. there dont get that with alloy ones. every hi powerd rst i seen on std rad it bows at the bottom
