What will standard Con Rod bolts take power wise?
I will be running 17psi and about 200bhp-220bhp soon and want to be sure i'm safe as i heard these like to let go before anything else in the engine!

Cheers!

Rev limiter has not been raised.

Yes it's high rev's that will kill the standard con-rod bolts........
not so much to do with power,

Ensure the bolts are not over torqued if you'r building the engine...
Use a quality torque wrench !!

If you like giving it some red line - make sure its got ARP's

Power will push the piston down and not stress the bolts. It's the revs that will try to stretch the bolts. I haven't actually seen any CVH rods fail at the bolt. Quite many failed CVH rods on the other hand.

As per the replies above, if you arent revving it then it shouldnt be an issue.
