ive run spacers for yrs with no problems with my bearings
they only cause a problem when you go way over the correct et for your car, if you normally run an et of 35 for example or a wheel with hubcentric spacers to make 35 it makes no difference whatsoever

no, if you use the correct spacers then the wheels will end up the same, as far as i can find out the standard sierra et is 40 so you may well get away with using smaller spacers
