Testing the water so to speak........sad times
If I recieve the right offer on her then she'll go.
Times are getting harder as everyone knows and I keep thinking that it's a waste having such a large amount of cash sitting doing nothing.
Most of you will know the car but may not know that I've just done another full nut and bolt full restoration on her......she is 95% complete and only needs mapping, rear spoiler painting and the bodykit fitted. This will all be done and she'll be 100% complete for the sale.
I've not driven her since 2005 and was wanting her done this year but been let down on wheels all year so 2008 is now over for me and really the car won't see light of day till april 2009 so now's probably a good time to sell.
Spec.
Full engine rebuild by Harvey Gibbs in 2005 costing just short of £10k including the large turbo conversion.
Low Comp 7.5:1
polished and ported head
SCS spec inlet cam
Long studded
Big wing sump
WRC head gasket
GT28 roller bearing turbo
Air to Air boost control with 12 position boost pot
She ran 403bhp on greys but have now changed them for 750cc siemens and she'll be going to Karls for mapping.
etc etc etc
Brakes and suspension:
Front - 380mm AP 6 pots
Rear - 330mm AP 4 pots with seperate handbrake caliper
Fully polybushed
ADJ Front track control arms
GAZ coilovers with rear arms strengthened
5 Stud conversion
Wheels
BMW fitment Breytons
there is so much to list and will edit this with new pictures and spec over the next few days as I get time (new baby etc
)
