Default Anybody got any pics of a bladed antiroll bar setup for a ERST?

As above really. I am about to send my car off for corner weighting and need to build up a 22mm anti roll bar for the front of the car. I would like to use a bladed design to give adjustability.

The car is a S2 Escort but has been converted to a S1 front suspension set up with adjustable MEf compression struts.

I plan to build the item myself from EN24 and am really looking to pinch some ideas so suggestions are also welcome.

Any help would be greatfully recieved.

Any pics mate? I would like one on the back to, but I dont want to loose my spare wheel well as most I have seen have had it cut out.

I am sure Zoo did a front one but I think he is not currently trading due to a request from her magisty the queen.

Cheers.

It was a Rally design one, not the best as they can't be adjusted, Martin Hadland thinks there shite

You want to get a proper adjustable bladed ARB

Not booked yet, not until the roll bar is sorted, hence I want to get started. I was down there sorting spring rates and other things with Tommy and this came up as a major issue. I was not going to run one at all but Tommy put me right on that hence the delay.

Theres always something.

Didnt you hear me telling Lyn to hang you up and tell you Tommy was to busy speaking with proper customers when you called?

and enough of the bus quotes, we cant all afford T45 cages!! Bastard!

I've noticed you didn't run a rear ARB, just the link kit only

Does it handle ok with the std roll bar or better without?

I don't run any ARB's front or rear.

Just set it all up for the type of event its going too.

Short/twisty or fast/open etc and run it on decent tyres. Never expect the same settings to do both. Thats the point of having adjustable components !!

Rear ARB made it oversteer too much.

There is no weight in the back end so mine does not need one, especially as the front end has so little understeer too.

Made a bladed one fixed of the 16i front mounts , it never gave ANY improvements so binned it. No point in carrying dead weight.
