I am going to buy a small car, for day to day use, got a new corsa on test and crap built for girls the stering is so light its dodgy.


any suggestions for a small car 1.4 which is usable ?

i have a new corsa diesel sportife van and that seems dangerous at high speed,seems to be all over the place.

a common thing i have read.

IIRC you can reconfigure the weight of the steering via tech2....altho tbh ive forgotten sooooo much in the past two months from leaving Vauxhall to go work on Peugeots that I could have just completely dreamed that one up

Seriously though, im sure you can reset it to sports chassis to make it alittle heavier....there was three different options as far as I recall, one being sports chassis, another being a learner car and cant remember the third....this was on the Corsa D, but may also apply to Corsa C.

Either way...dont buy a Peugeot, they are utter pants in every respect

a focus isnt a small car

fiesta or ka if really small. drive ok but slow.

It's hardly a fucking rolls royce either Fiestas are too small to be useful imho

We use Corsa's Astra's and Vectra's at work and I can honestly highly recomend....








getting something else. They are utter shite. The steering wheels and dash all seem to be made from the same cheap arse plastic. Anything chrome is chrome coloured plastic and they seem to spend more time at Vauxhall than they do in our car park. The Corssa's expecially seem very prone to developping an annoying front end clonk.

fiesta 1.4 td awsome on fuel ..Ł35 road tax 12 monthswill be Ł30 next year ...ive got 5 door model ..i am 6 foot 2 tall my son is 6 foot tall ...and we both fit comfortably in it no probs ....even put our 2 boxer dogs in boot everyday ....brilliant little car ...pulls well also

My auld mans got a 08 plate fiesta 3 door and its a crackin wee car

I couldnt believe the space there was behind the front seats for leg room for a fiesta


Seriously considering getting one myself and chopping the mondeo in and we are a family of 4
