we flew right up the thames on our way to heathrow but i could not take ay pics as u got to turn off all electrical stuff!!there was no way i was going to risk it

incredible photos. I think it's pretty unusual that civilians are allowed to fly over some of those areas too.. i've tried loads of times when i've been up with my mate Nick.
iirc the furthest we've been allowed by air traffic control was southwark bridge then were under very strict orders to turn off. still got some fairly decent photos of docklands and the city, but nowhere near as good as those!

Very nice photos but i still hate london it never stops all night long all you can hear are police cars up and down .....sorry to the lads that live down there

 

Fantastic shots - what would have been nice though would have been some prolonged exposure shots so you get the "trails" from cars moving along the streets....
