i was speaking to somebody at work today and he said his wife cheated on him after meeting somebody on facebook, this made me think as he he said he was on a site the other week where 5 people were in the same boat lol. is facebook a bad thing or is it just women cant be trusted?

i'd agree with that, pictures go on there that are totally inicent, then someone tags u in it and ur bird sees it and starts asking questions.

havnt got face book or myspace etc. for the simple reason, if in relationship its deadly.i would end up getting into bother.

its just annoying cos i dont normally take a camera out and its long getting people to email u loads of photos so its easier just to flick through them on things like facebook.

 

i signed up a while ago after a lot of friends telling me to look at the pics etc, then signed out and cancelled my account 2 days later- what a load of fooking crap.

I dont like face book to be honest, l know a guy who got contacted on friends reunited by his old high school sweet heart, left his misses after she started asking questions gave her the lots 2 hourse GT2 money and went back to his high school sweet heart because curiosity got the better of him.

If someone wants to cheat, they will cheat...and find a way to do it.

Online social networking sites just bring a lot of people together that wouldnt normally meet.

Only people I have on my facebook are people I know already, I have intention of chatting up old school friends or anyone for that matter, I use it purely to keep up to date with friends

Do people just add total randoms or something? You can do that on any internet based thing (chat rooms, forums, the muppet room )

Interesting reading! I got sent a link to facebook and therefore registering by a girl at school who I went out with 3 times. Admittedly one time was just a joke and to wind someone up who wanted her. Anyway at school I always got on with her and she wasn't a dick like some girls can be but last time I saw here was at college at 17, now shall we say its a few years later but pics of her are on the net.....

Turns out she set up and runs the website of a well known band in the UK and it would be good to chat with her but after reading this lot above and having a relationship for 5 years+ what should I do????
