i dont have themi want them...but are they straight forward to put on..ill go up the breakers later and see if they have any!!!!!!

 

you need to get them from a s1 ... altohugh i do belive german s2's might have came with them..i have them fitted to my s2 they're not to bad to fit a couple of rivets at the front and a couple of fiddly screws at the back,i got the fitting kit for the ford ka's rear windows to do the job i think i was about a fiver for it!!

 

Only problem S1 rears are bronze tint S2 windows are green...

There's green rear sets about but nott too many. Think Ford still had a couple sets around...

They do green tint on the S2. Was an option. I fitted a set onto my old XR3i with no problems.

The B-post trims are okay as they have the cut-outs pre made. You need to cut the C-pillar trim on each side to allow for the catch to fit on, however, if you remove the trim, there is a template built in for you to cut accurately .

Getting hold of the glass isn't too easy but yeah fitting is...

 

well considering iv never taken an engine out or even fitted a strut brace i think im doing ok so far....first project taken the engine out swoped all my bit over cleaned preped..im doing pritty well i think...considering iv never toched a car with a spannerall i have to do is wait for the weather to be nice and slamm the engine in

 

ive got two sets of brand new green tint opening quarters still wrapped up since i bought them, i bought two sets incase of breakages lol. you can get all the fitting bolts and caps etc from ford still as i bought two sets of these aswell, the only thing you cant get is the hinges and catches new anymore, i managed to get the last one national clearance had.

i can get em but fuck they cost

gave £30 (sold on ebay for £210) for my last set but if i wanted to get any now you'd pay £200 or not far off it

 

is that for the green tint glass only or complete kit ???. gather your talking second hand prices to mate ????. do you know anywhere i can maybe get proper mint rubbers from ????.

Only if it's another Escort mk3/4 - otherwise the shape will be different.

Just for info, you can't get the caps anymore.

 

i got some caps a few days ago
use a ka part number (i work in a ford bodyshop and needed them for a job)

i can get 2nd hand, ford still have new but they cost

 

2nd hand what mate ????. rubbers ???? or bolt caps ????. i was going to say the caps are available, as above, theyre the same as the ford ka. like i said, i got evey fixing brand new from ford, i just want some mint rubbers.

these cost a fortune i just sold a set on ebay for £250 they come frome the continent so u will be hard pressed to find some on a scrapper that if u can find a mk 4 in a scrap yard

 

i actually know where to get new green tint glass anytime i want, thats where i got my 2 sets from, its the catches, hinges and rubbers id like to source new.
