been tinkering with the 3dr tonight, think i had wrong spark plugs in it champion qc59yc plugs-removed and put in old set of ngk bcr8es plugs and a bit better but STILL misses between 5-6000 revs, got plug gaps at .7mm at mo, any other ideas??? thanks

 

try a 0.6mm plug gap

what spec is your engine ?

 

yes try 0.6mm gap as above or 0.599999mm ! and enough of the tinkering !
i think you should go for a rebuild! its the way forward !

 

I fitted a set of IK31s, so much smoother idle and no top end misfires. You don't even have to gap the plugs.

standard engine, standard coil, t3 greens 4x4 cooler stage 3 chip and running spike at 24-25 holding 20-21psi???

 

where do you get them plugs from and how much fella???

 

think thats a typing error

he means holding 2 - 2.1 psi

 

Thats 1-2 psi higher than you pal with your yellows and quiet exhaust......
