do they all come with ABS ? cant find a decent website showing the specs for my 03 1.4 zetec,

bascically my mates got a 54 reg zetec and when you first turn the key and all the lights come on his abs light comes on - whereas mine doesnt ??

does that mean my abs isnt working ?

any way i can test the dash lights ?

all came with abs

In addition there are dual front airbags and ABS with electronic brake force distribution on every car while side airbags are optional. All cars have an immobiliser but only Style upwards gets remote central locking. Ghia and Zetec S have an alarm.

dunno why the light doesn't come on though!

 

my mrs has a 52 reg zetec, pretty definate it doesn't have abs!

 

another reason im asking is a couple of weeks ago i skidded into the back of someone, wheels completely locked up,

when i got the car back from the repairers i tried the brakes and they skidded again as if the abs wasnt working,

now surely it should come up somewhere telling me that the abs isnt working ?

the plot thickens lol

Nah i don't think so. I went out to her car this morning and there was definately no warning light for the abs. I think it was probably an option! You could always whip a wheel off and see if there is a sensor on the hub for the abs?

 

i would of thought in this day and age all new ford cars would come with ABS

mother fuckers !!! lol
