hi im building a 2.1zvh for my rs,got bored with 1.6 although made 217bhp on mfi so wwasnt too bad, im now going zvh and are struggling to get pistons? as i dont know anyone that will build me a 2.1 bottom end,i got told i need 86mm pistons off a 2.0 litre redtop vauxhall c20xe engine i might be wrong any info great cheers

 

burton power do then to suit a zvh,2.0 and 2.1 i think.

 

its the c20 let pistons not the xe unless its the early ones

 

if im right you want the mahles out of the xe red top for zvh application, and c20let for 16v zetec turbo . is staying mfi your reason for fitting the 8v head?

Go for the C20XE pistons. Will give you a better C/R for ZVH use. Pre 1990 i think your looking for. These were the forged items made by mahle.
If it has "p" in the serial number then your on the right track.
