That has been adapted, as there is a round piece that should stick up about 1/2 an inch from the metering unit, as when there are set up you push down and turn the screw with an allen key

only move the allen key in very small increments. Do Not turn it either way full turns, just very and i mean very small movements....

In fact get a tuner to set it up for you, i didnt have the balls to move mine myself due to them being very temperamental.....

the bloke who i got it off has been fuckin about with it for ages so i think its gone beyond that bit mate.

im thinkin screwe it right out so no fuel then gradrualy bring it back in bit by bit see what that duz. just keep tryin till i cant cope no more. it means trailer find a tuner drag it miles away not even got a towbar on other car like.
got a removals van but i dont fancy liftin it into the back like haha.

Hi m8.
Try to get it setup before you do anything mekanic.
Ign is std set to 6` the markings is ón the plastic pease just over the cranck wheel.
There is some triangluar tops down there, big small big small, and ewery big is 6 deg between, so first one is 0deg next 6 aso.
Metering screw is a quarter turn is about 3-5 % CO so you get the feeling that it´s sensitive, so try turning it anti-clockwise one quarter, and then see how it does, when it then runs get it as stabel @ idle as possible with the screw, and if you dont have a co% gauge, take it to a tuner or garage that can help you with it.
Std is about 1,3%co but performes best arround 3% and if it´s chipped i set them to arr 6-7% then i know for sure they get enough and it also help cooling the pistons etc, but dont go over 7% then they get to much.

It's just the idle mixture setting. Setting to overly rich has no point what so ever and will only foul your plugs. If you don't have any kind of WB-lambda or gas analyzer at hand, take it counterclockwise in small increments till it idles badly, then about 1/8 back and it's fine. Remember, having the tuning hole unblocked will affact the mixture. Also, having the allen key in, will affect the mixture.
About the ignition timing marks, it's the second mark that is zero and they go in increments of 4.
