Just a quick one really, been looking at possibly getting a sierra sapphire cosworth to replace the celica but having major trouble even finding anyone to even quote me at the moment.

Ill be 20 years old, driving for 3 years and have 1 years no claims and flux who im currently insured with on the celica say i have to be over 21!

Itll be used as a 2nd car and garaged.

Anyone got any good companies to try?

I was 21 when I got mine, but did find out that Norwich Union have them blacklisted and won't insure them.

 

most wont touch you until your 21; i know Greenlight will not insure anyone under the age of 21 on a cossie

i insured a saff at 20, zero no claims, with zurich


get yer wallet out though, it was Ł2600 a year

 

Ill happily pay upto Ł2000 to insure one its just finding a company that will actually give me a quote.

 

Cheapest I could find at 24 with 2 NCB was Ł1800.

i paid Ł2300 under my dads name when i was 19 with elephant on my 2wd saph.

now with admiral at 24 its Ł600.

 

Ive actually got a really good postcode aswell, they just seem to be a total ass to insure.

 

Just waiting for them to ring me back with a quote.

And Boncaster you have to be over 21.
