hi
I currently have all the bits needed for a rear brake conversion for an escort and was thinking of converting mine, however is there a guide or How to about anywhere at all? just so i can have make sure i have everything covered as it were

Obviously you're not looking too hard. It's a asticky at the ERST section, third topic from the top.

my rear disks are mainly to please my eye lol.

not had any issues with them........yet.

RST's just dont lend themselves to discs on the rear. Mine's still on drums, but I do have a proper bias adjustable system, so fitting rear discs might work, but on an RST with standard configuration, you'll end up with far more rear end braking than you need, which will be a nightmare on a car with no weight in the back.

Check back to the last time you asked Gra and you will find I posted you the link to an online guide

And if a car is set up correctly to use them they will work perfectly well.

Its just most people dont have a clue what they are doing and it gets them into trouble.

Im going with rear discs on the back of mine, more for a visual purpose but will be fitting a bias valve and will have them set up to work perfectly.

as Tony sais no reason why they cant work properly !
