Default HI GUYS

has anyone who has fitted a 2.0 pinto into a mk 2 had probs with the steering joint hitting the rear corner of the sump seems a bit strange any help would be great cheers Dave C

what subframe and sump are you using

We are using an RS2000 sump and a standard crossmember which was already in the 1100.
It seems that its possible to tilt the engine to one side in order for it to clear the steering joint - Is this right ?

it shouldnt touch when i dropped mine in we used a alloy sump rs2000 crossmember and rs2000 mounts and every thing was snug.maybe theres a heigh difference in the subframe or mounts
