Hi Im Just about to strip and completly rebuild my series 2 engine, can anyone tell me the best piston upgrade to put in it.

 

what kind of power and boost do you want to run,

 

Anything over 200 BHP not sure on the boost nothing to serious

 

Standard Mahle's if you can get them.

 

Would I need to get the engine rebored? Also my RST is running crap at the mo at idle it surges like mad fluctuates between 1000rpm and 1500rpm and when I give it a rev it nearly cuts out sometimes it will stall. Any ideas ?

 

yea get it set up mate mine done this, had full set up now it runs spot on

 

Does anyone out there know where I can get some Mahle pistons for a Series 2 Turbo
