TVR GRIFFTHS 500 Steering rack, Are they bespoke to the TVR or are they from a parts bin like most of it, I heard they used a astra steering rack??
I ask because i need to replace a whole rack and want to know where i can get a replacement.

 

Cant help but the Chimaera and Cerbera are TVR only parts
Cant see it being Astra as they are bulkhead mounted ?

they are not a vauxhall one
i should know the answer to this as i used to fit them
i will try to find out for you
is it manual or pas

 

Chimaera and Cerbera are definately not only Tvr parts,i will try and find out what it is from,but you would get a answer from pistonheads forums.

Why else would they have the name TVR cast into them

 

Its PAS if that narrows it down a bit

I don't know about racks, but what fun putting plugs in a chimeara(sp) with a roasting hot engine!!
