Default Anyone name this part

Its of a FRST OFAB and sits behind the Jack on the right hand side of the engine bay, Looks knackered as the 2 yellow wires have been joined together rather than going to the unit has always been like this and runs lumpy once unplugged,

Any Ideas as i would like to know why it has been joined up this way

Cheers Seb

Nah no ABS on the car, don't think so anyway as it affects cars idle and running

OK so why would he have the yellow wires just shorted together, and why would it make the car run so lumpy, could it just control the igition system or something simular

The black connector looks very similar to the speed sensor connection I had on my Escort.

Ok i've notiched that its only affects the running of the engine weather it be plugged in or not when warm when cold on choke etc, it doesn't seem to make much on a difference on idle that is anyway, gonna try connecting it up propaly and seeing the Difference will let you know tommorrow, Any more ideas in the mean time would be great

Cheers SEB
