If you're stuck, there's always the option of buying another full set then passing on whatever is surplus to requirements later on.

It's £99.99 from play.com, then flog the game itself on and you're only paying a little over the odds effectively.

The original guitar (from Guitar Hero II) was wired, and I assume is still compatible?

You could probably pick one of those up on the cheap on eBay, so that's another option

I thought rockband came with wired guitars (I know mine did), and that guitar hero comes with a wireless guitar (again, mine did).


You can use either guitar on rockband, but only the wireless guitar works on guitar hero?

 

I don't have GH on Xbox. Only PS2 and PS3


so what you are saying is... if I buy a GH wireless guitar for XBox then it will work on Rockband?

 

I was playing this game last night for the 1st time and I was pants but my mate put it on lefty mode for me and I did quite well!!

97% on easy 1st go so I got brave and went for hysteria by muse on medium and fluffed it 77%

Was alot of fun though, when everyone plys the guitair mode do they got proper over enthusiastic? I was jumping up and down and swinging it about trying to keep my timings right! lol

I'm pretty sure the Guitar Hero guitars work with RockBand. I'll have a look about the 'net.

Guitar Hero guitars are easy enough to get hold of, GH3 is only £40 most places these days with the guitar.
