Default new discs and pads... recommendations?

only standard uprated i'm afraid!

any recommendations? brands / who from? price?

i've got black diamond combi front and rear so it would be nice if the new fronts BD...

was thinking BD combis and green pads?

unless anything else is miles better?

these front discs have lasted about 12k over many years.. warped now...

to be fair, i dont think there is much between the uprated standard items, eBC, Black Diamond etc all seem pretty much the same

ebc grooved and drilled discs and yellow stuff pads. 287 pounds from demon tweeks. they are v good imo and once warmed up they stop you in quite a hurry imo again.

I have tried at least 6 different makes/compounds of pads over the years(very old!!) I get ferrodo free from a friend who has his own shop, I BUY ebc YELLOWSTUFF, I'll let you work out why, don't bother with ebc greenstuff it's rubbish.
I use el cheapo discs and replace every 2/3 years, or every pad change, I use drilled discs.

This thread reminds me of soo many others :P

But, I'm on ds2500's. Will change to bigger uprated brakes through the winter, but if not I'd go for black diamond & ds2500
