I think there are 50 questions on a bike theory test instead of 35 for the car, all the same type of questions, but dont hold me to it

Just make sure you get the theory book and go through the whole lot and youll be fine! Its the hazard perception where many people slip up. It sounds daft but you can actually be 'too' aware like i was on the practice runs. I actually clicked as soon as i saw the hazard and it didnt register, so i found that if you double click the moment you see it, you get the full marks. Some of them are pretty tricky though so you definatly need to do a few practice runs to familiarise yourself with how it actually works.

Same here, and the fact that most already have a good few years of road sense behind them so that comes naturally. Its just postioning and awareness thats different in many ways.

By the way, it was raining for my test so the examiner followed me in his merc because he probably didnt want to get wet. Most of the time, he was a couple of cars behind me.

if you drive a car and are not totally fucking useless you should piss it.

i didnt practice it or anything as im lazy, but done pretty well in the theory and fairly well in the hazard perception test. basically if something is moving, click the thingy!

i passed ok lol, so it cant be THAT hard

i passed my bike test 5 years ago now went out and bought all the stuff to go with it leathers, boots, lid, gloves all good stuff spent a few pounds in the shop but had not bought a bike yet lol.I then got he chance of a very minted honda fireblade rrw which i bought and was my first proper bike i had.i had it on the road a good few summers and i do have to say that gettin on a bike and going for a blast around the country is a lot more intence and have to watch out for what all the car drivers are doing first.still got my blade but dont get out on it no more(which i do miss) but the car eats all my money now so the blade has to go!!the only thing i would ay about doing your test ajc is keep your head movein ,blind spot and checking your mirrors and relax if you can ride a bike you should do fine i just thought it was like going round with my instructor worked for me anyway good luck hope you pass!if you fancy a nice minted blade am sellin 1 lol

Passed my DAS last november, theory is easy, just more related to bikes, mainly common sense, the module one is the hardest I found as there was loads of people watching me so made me nervous!

dont bother with the book once u have done about 10 pages u will wont to bin it lol. Get the disc for your computer once u have done it about 30 or so times u will see a lot of the question tend to repeat them selfs just worded a bit different! I got 100% on the questions part and a bit less on the hazard perception bit
