Look at the fookin rods! Proper Top Fuel spec rods, dont think itd matter the stroke, theyd handle it!

More responsive and more controllable for rallying in RWD, plus turbo's would put them in a different class with all the subaru's and evo's

But you say the same class as subaru's and evo's, does this mean they still use this engine for rallying today? Or do you mean how it used to be?

they are becoming a rare sight, most top mk2's use a 2.5ltr milinton diamond engine now about 320+bhp
